All
the guests shower blessings on the newly engaged
Jalad and Chando. N.R.I. tycoon Arun Thakur arrives
with his son Aditya. Dev Mama is quick to propose
Chapla as a prospective bride for Aditya. Leela
is thrilled & everyone is excited about the
idea. Chapla is upset. Chando introduces Chapla
to Aditya and invites everyone to the dance floor.
The band plays a vintage Hindi classic song “Mujhe
Huzoor tumse pyar hai”(the only Geeta Dutt
number ever tuned by Naushad). - Chando dances with
Jalad, Chapla with Aditya and Dinesh with the singer.
Chapla keeps on glancing in Jalad’s directions
and approaches Chando to let her have a dance with
Jalad. Chando readily agrees. Chapla dancing with
Jalad asks him if she should marry Aditya –
Jalad responds indifferently. Dinesh confronts Chapla
about her designs, who reacts angrily. Leela advises
Chapla to make a tactical retreat.
