Chapla
suddenly reappears at Mani’s Mansion and apologizes
for her earlier childish behaviour. She tries to
please everyone but pointedly ignores Jalad. An
utterly surprised Jalad consults Dinesh, who warns
him that this is just a tactical retreat of Chapla.
Chando discovers Chapla’s “Missing your”
note in Jalad’s cupboard but dismisses it
as a “Jeeja / Sali Joke”. Inspired by
Jalad’s teasing Chando decides to recommence
her studies. Chapla tries particularly hard to get
into Mani’s good books. Chando decides to
approach Mani to seek her permission for higher
studies.
