Jalad
regrets becoming intimate with Chapla during their
dance at the “Nostalgia Club”. He gets
very upset with Chapla and curtly asks her to stop
persuing him. As per tradition Mani invites everyone
for a “Lunch Picnic” at “The Club”.
Mani and Dev Mama play chess, watched by Chando.
Dinesh / Chapla and Jalad / Kumkum play tennis.
Chapla is still very upset and her racquet accidentally
hits Jalad, who gets hurt. Back home Chapla tries
to mollify Jalad. Dinesh once again warns Jalad
about Chapla’s real intentions. Chando overhears
Jalad admitting that he likes Chapla and is crest
fallen.
