Chando
goes to wish Jalad goodnight and overhears Jalad
telling Chapla that he has not seen the romantic
side of Chando and is distracted by Chapla’s
contrasting allure. Chapla asks him as to how he
can be committed to one person (Chando) while desiring
another person (Chapla). Chando is stunned and later
confronts Chapla – they have an altercation.
Chando goes to sleep with Mani. Next morning Chando
is furthur upset by seeing that Chapla has got up
early in the morning to lie besides Jalad. Mani
and Jalad are very impressed with Chando’s
brilliance in a C.A. Meeting.
