A
shattered Mani has a nightmarish dream in which
she meets her dead husband (Surendra) and dead dear
friend (Kanak). In the dream Surendra and Kanak
mollify Mani, telling her that whatever has happened
was ordained and that she did her best to fulfill
her promise. They emphasise that Mani should realise
that she is a strong person and should continue
performing her duty without feeling guilty at all.
Mani feels reassured by her dream and resolves to
face the challenges in an undaunted way. She instructs
Ansari to cancel Jalad / Chando Wedding and prepare
for a Chapla / Jalad Wedding, but without fanfare.
Dinesh and Kumkum meet Jalad and Chando respectively
and are shocked to hear of the turn of events.
