Jalad
and Dinesh’s friendship gets re-established
over breakfast, Dinesh recites a poem on friendship
and the two friends embrace. Mani praises and blesses
Chando for succeeding in her efforts. A delighted
Chando sings “Chale re pavan” (a delectable
Alka Yagnik number tuned by Khayyam) and carefully
rearranges Jalad’s room, who is very impressed.
Chando also refurbishes Mani’s long shut music
room and sings the bhajan her mother (Kanak) used
to sing with Mani. Mani feels as if Kanak has returned
and joins Chando in the song. Dinesh and Jalad hear
Chando sing – Dinesh is besotted.
